Re: Running Freehand MXa on Silicon Mac
This would certainly be of very much help. At least for me to not have to keep old machines running.

OSXFH and Apple M1 / Big Sure
As of now, OSXFH does not run on M1 chips.
Note from OSXFH.com: 4.26.2021 – OSXFH will NOT run on Apple’s new M1 chip. We are working on porting OSXFH to the new machines via Parallels V16.5 .

Affinity Designer opening FreeHand files
Okay, some advice here for Affinity Designer users: As you certainly experienced, Affinity Designer can open FreeHand files, but the result is only usable for the most simple of files. But if you export your file from FreeHand in Adobe Illustrator format, Af Designer can open that and the result is ...

Sluggish behaviour and mouse pointer precision are better for me now after I changed screen size to 2048x1536 or 2560x1600 but this depends on your display of course. Generally it seems important, to not change ...

Giving up on Affinity Designer
Despite some good experiences, after quiet some working with Affinity I gave it up now. Why? Beause the color swatches in Affinity do not link to the objects. This is a major flaw that makes Affinity designer useless. It means, you set a swatch color then set one or several object fillings using tha...

Re: Slow and staggering
So far I got to the point as to identify the problem lies within screen resolution mainly because if retina resolution. I made sure to use the same resolution in guest OSX monitor preferences like in parallels and this made things better. Still staggering and tendency to mouse inprecision when tryin...
