Re: Affinity Designer
I purchased it and I am glad with it, expecting more functions to come but when I read the list of future improvements listed above : ;-) Here in France, the feedbacks are really good. People are just happy and feel this software has been made for professionals. Maybe the so expected Illustrator kil...

Re: Affinity Designer
Glad to discover Affinity Designer. The intention to import Freehand files is a big +

Re: FreeHand import plugin for CS6
Thanks Mark for your trick, unfortunately I am out of work for 3 weeks (vacations) so I cannot test it. Impossible to instal twice the plugin to test it at home ;-) Patrick also sent me a solution : "Regarding your problem with 2014 and no suffix. I have tried in on my Mac. The first two items ...

It is a must have!!! My only problem is all my Freehand files have no extension (fh8, fh9, fh10…) that mea...

Re: FreeHand is back, at least on my MacBook Pro with Maveri
Hello, Do I understand you can copy and paste from FH (OSX Server) to Maverick? For instance copy from FH then copy to Indesign CC?sebright wrote:This means the virtual machine works as just another app and FH act as though it is running on Maverick, including cut and paste.
Thanks

Re: Overview of working virtual solutions
Just to have different kind of solutions to keep FreeHand alive. The more we have, more confident we feel
Now, my dream would be to have rosetta running with Maverick, then...... Champagne!!!!!!
I believe it will happen.

Re: This is what I discovered ;-)
Hello Mark, yes drag & drop is working. For the few I have done with Freehand I have seen no difference between FreeHand in VMware 5 and 6 (but I only draw logos and illustrations in FH). Yes no more boring shared folder ;-) I have tried copy & paste directly from Freehand to Indesign cc and...

This is what I discovered ;-)
On my Laptop I have Maverick and VMware 5 on which leopard server is installed. FreeHand is working like a charm. The boring thing was to place the saved freehand file into a share directory in order to open it with Illustrator 5 in Maverick (waste of time). Now once VMware 6 installed, I just drag ...
